Kidneys Disorders

The Kidneys:

Most people have two kidneys. They are bean-shaped organs located on both sides of the spine, behind the stomach. Each one is about the size of an adult fist. Their main purpose is to keep the composition of blood in the body balanced to maintain good health.

The kidneys filter excess water and toxins from the blood. While filtering, the kidneys produce urine with the body’s excess fluids which then carry the toxins away. The urine is sent through two tubes called ureters down to the bladder, where the urine then leaves the body through the urethra. The kidneys also make hormones. These hormones help regulate blood pressure, make red blood cells and promote bone health.

Poor kidney care and/or  genetics can cause a wide range of health problems. Chronic kidney disease, also called chronic kidney failure, is when the kidneys slowly stop functioning. The underlying conditions that cause most kidney failure, is lack of adequate oxygen, excess mucus and inflammation (stagnant fluids) in various parts of the kidneys cells and kidneys in general.

this slow process generally occur when the body or a particular area of the body (kidneys) is facing abnormal levels of hydrogen ions, these hydrogen ions will naturally bond with the oxygen ion whenever you breathe in. This Cumbustion will occur every time you breathe and the result of this reaction will undoubtedly creates Stagnant fluids/inflammation i.e Water inside cavities, systems, or in this instance your kidneys .

Excess hydrogen ions in the body makes the body’s pH unbalanced, and makes it fall in a Acidic state that in turn will robs the body’s cells and organs of essential oxygen.

Kidney failure is the most severe stage of kidney disease. It occurs when kidneys stop functioning, without help People with kidney failure need dialysis or a kidney transplant to survive.

Kidney stones are exactly what they sound like. They are stones made from hardened mucus, minerals and acid salts that collect in the kidneys, usually formed by concentrated urine.

Kidney infections, also called pyelonephritis, are usually caused by mucus and bacteria that enter the urethra, ascend into the bladder and make their way to the kidneys, If a kidney infection goes untreated, it can cause permanent kidney damage.

Promoting good kidney health

Proper care can keep kidneys running properly well into old age. One of the most important things to remember is to stay hydrated. Kidneys need water to function properly and to carry away toxins.

“In the most serious cases, dehydration can eventually harm the body causing seizures, kidney failure and even death, the best ways to avoid dehydration included drinking water before you get thirsty, since thirst indicates dehydration; eating foods, like fruits and vegetables, with a high water content; avoiding soda or other caffeinated drinks; and limiting alcohol consumption.

Kidney Disorders and Supportive Supplements

Chronic kidney disease

Chronic kidney disease is the most common form of kidney disease, it is a long-term condition that doesn’t improve over time if left untreated. It’s commonly caused by high blood pressure.

High blood pressure is dangerous for the kidneys because it can increase the pressure on the glomeruli. Glomeruli are the tiny blood vessels in the kidneys where blood is cleaned. Over time, the increased pressure damages these vessels and kidney function begins to decline.

Kidney function will eventually deteriorate to the point where the kidneys can no longer perform their job properly. In this case, a person would need to go on dialysis. Dialysis filters stagnant fluids, toxins and waste out of the blood. Dialysis can help treat kidney disease but it can not cure it.

Diabetes is also a major cause of chronic kidney disease. Diabetes is a group of diseases that causes high blood sugar. The increased level of sugar in the blood damages the blood vessels in the kidneys over time. This means the kidneys can’t clean the blood properly. Kidney failure will occur when the body becomes overloaded with toxins, acids and mucus.

Glomerulonephritis is an inflammation of the glomeruli. Glomeruli are extremely small structures inside the kidneys that filter the blood. Glomerulonephritis can be caused by infections, drugs, or congenital abnormalities (disorders that occur during or shortly after birth). It often gets better on its own.

Polycystic kidney disease

is a genetic disorder that causes numerous cysts (small sacs of fluid) to grow in the kidneys. These cysts can interfere with kidney function and cause kidney failure. (It’s important to note that individual kidney cysts are fairly common and almost always harmless. Polycystic kidney disease is a separate, more serious condition.)

Urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are bacterial infections of any part of the urinary system. Infections in the bladder and urethra are the most common. They are easily treatable and rarely lead to more health problems. However, if left untreated, these infections can spread to the kidneys and cause kidney failure.
